Adoption:
Crossroads Donkey Rescue welcomes adoptions. Our
goal is to find caring loving homes for all of
our animals. We are always in need of
things around the center. We put up a wish list
that you can view on the left, but if you have
anything else you might think we can use send it
along or give us a call. You can't imagine who
much equipment it takes to operate an animal
shelter

Adoption Fees:
The cost associated with the care of these
animals are usually very expensive. Most of the
donkeys we encounter need medical attention and
hoof trimmings, and most require intense
socialization and training. All jacks that are
taken in by our rescue are gelded before
adoption and all our animals are current on
vaccinations. To help off set these cost, our
adoption fees average around $350.00 per donkey.
Some of the animals we have rescued have
developed strong bonds with another one of our
rescue animals or have come to us as a pair,
with a long time long-cared friend. We cannot
bare to split up a good friendship so our
adoptions fee for a pair of donkeys is 600.00
How to Adopt?
It's quite simple, download an application and
submit it to us for processing. Once approved
you are welcome to take your donkey home to be
part of your family.
